The society has produced two informative booklets to assist members
and others to ;
- Identify plants , fruits, vegetables and flowers that may poison birds.
- Identify plants, fruits and vegetables that are safe to feed to birds.
- Identify by their correct name seeding-grasses suitable for feeding to birds
- and/or plant in aviaries.
Both booklets show the various plants in full colour to allow easy recognition, and in the case of the seeding-grass booklet a star-rating system shows the avicultural value of each species.
These reasonably priced booklets can be posted anywhere in the world.
